Jeremy was born and raised in Oklahoma and is the oldest living generation in the family’s construction legacy. A master tradesman with decades of experience, he began in trim carpentry and quickly expanded into full construction and remodels, gaining extensive knowledge across the industry. Jeremy is married to his wife, Misty, and with all of his children grown, he enjoys spending time with family, carrying on the family legacy, and serving in his local church.

Back in the 1970s, Doyle Powell—Riley Powell’s grandfather and Jeremy Powell’s father—decided to start building homes on the west side of Oklahoma City. Having grown up around construction with his own father, Doyle took a leap of faith and launched his own home-building company, naming it Victory Homes. The name “Victory” holds deep meaning for the Powell family, rooted in their faith in Jesus. It reflects the belief that true Victory is not something we fight for, but something we live from—a place of worship and purpose in Christ.

On July 20, 1985, Doyle Powell was tragically killed in a car accident on the west side of Oklahoma City near the intersection of 39th Street and Sara, along with his daughter. Jeremy Powell was young at the time, and Riley had not yet been born. This heartbreaking event put a pause on the family’s construction legacy. Years later, Jeremy carried the family tradition forward, mastering trim carpentry right out of high school and eventually expanding into full-scale construction, keeping his father’s vision alive.

In 2019, Riley Powell brought new life to the family legacy by recreating the original logo that Doyle Powell had designed back in the 1970s—over 50 years ago. As Riley expanded his knowledge and experience in the construction industry, he naturally partnered with his father, Jeremy, taking on a variety of construction projects together. Today, the company has evolved into Victory Design & Build, carrying forward the family’s history while building a modern legacy of excellence.
